Rock It at the Gayla!!  

I just was talking to Joe from Joe's UnionReview and dude tells me that the Inaugural Ball that I'm working on was noting in the UnionCity Publication yesterday!! And, I missed it!!

LABOR INAUGURAL UPDATES: Library of Congress Workers Welcome Obama: The Library of Congress Professional Guild, AFSCME 2910, is welcoming incoming President Barack Obama with a celebratory welcome sign on the Guild’s bulletin board on the sixth floor of the Madison Building. The Guild quotes Obama as saying "We're ready to take the offense for organized labor. It's time we have a President who didn't choke saying the word "union." We need to strengthen our unions by letting them do what they do best - organize our workers. If a majority of workers want a union, they should get a union. It's that simple."

Pride At Work honored at Gayla: Pride At Work is being honored at the People's Inaugural Gayla, an Inaugural Ball on Sunday, January 18, from 8P-2A; Pride At Work will be featured at the event, and Executive Director Jeremy Bishop will be speaking.

Damn there were are!! And, I just found out that we'll also be honoring the most amazing Congressman Barney Frank.

This is something UNIONS have always fought for, and John McCain wants to take them away from you. Union and non-union and then, let the market decide. How's that worked for the financial markets?
