AP is reporting that Amtrak workers represented by their unions have tentatively reached an agreement with Amtrak!!
People familiar with the agreement, speaking on condition of anonymity because it had not been formally announced, said the labor agreement adopts the recommendations of a presidential emergency board report issued Dec. 30.
A meeting was tentatively scheduled Friday morning to finalize the agreement.
Looks like I'm heading to Ohio!!
PS, Amtrak, I'm glad to see that you're doing right by your workers. Makes me glad I'm a train traveler.
